CALL FOR PAPERS and related information

The special issue on the RCM2009 workshop will be published in the meteorological journal “Meteorologische Zeitschift” (www.metzet.de and www.ingentaconnect.com/content/09412948/).
All manuscripts will be peer reviewed by at least two reviewers. Manuscripts have to be written in English.

Schedule for the special issue

- 31 October 2009 : deadline for manuscript submission.
- First review cycle (review + changes by the authors) 10 weeks
- Second review cycle (review + changes by the authors) 8 weeks
- printed June 2010

There is no restriction on page numbers per article presently. However, we are aiming for an average of 10 journal pages per article. Short articles (about four journal pages) are welcome.
Submission and review process will be online. Further information will follow later, when a “section” is created for the special issue. Do NOT submit your abstract right now. You will receive an email when abstract submission starts.

Prices

The price depends on the total number of pages for the special issue. The following example is based on a 200 pages special issue.
Charges per page: 92 Euro + 19% VAT
B/W figures: no charges
Color figures: 200 Euro for the first figure, each additional 50 Euro
Open access (optional): 109 Euro + 19% VAT

If you intent to submit a manuscript to the special issue, please go to the registration page, fill in the form and submit it before 31 August 2009. Please do so, even if you already sent an email recently with these information! Please do not register via email again!
