2nd Lund Regional-scale Climate Modelling Workshop:
21st Century Challenges in Regional-scale Climate Modelling

The workshop was organised by Lund University, Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institiute (SMHI), Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI) and GKSS-Forschungszentrum Geesthacht GmbH (GKSS) with support by the International BALTEX Secretariat.
The workshop enjoyed endorsement by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), the World Climate Research Programme (WCRP), the WCRP Global Energy and Water Cycle Experiment (GEWEX), the U.S. National Science Foundation, the EU-FP6 co-financed project ENSEMBLES, the North American Regional Climate Change Programm NARCCAP, the Swedish Research Council for Environment, Agricultural Sciences and Spatial Planning (formas), the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, and the GEWEX-CEOP Regional Hydroclimate Project BALTEX (Baltic Sea Experiment).
Support
Some funds were available to U.S. based students and postdocs by the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF).
For participants from developing countries, there was some support by WCRP.
