The conference is intended to provide practitioners in the field of local and regional administraton and decision making with an opportunity to

- access first hand information on regional climate change in the Baltic Sea region and its impacts
- present case studies on climate change adaptation plans and activities in various regions and municipalities in the Baltic Sea region
- build and foster a network of practitioners facing similar problems regarding adaptation to climate change in their regions
